✅ Extra Tips for Road-Tripping with Kids

  • Pack plenty of snacks. I prep a small backpack cooler with pre-cut fruits and veggies, string cheese, applesauce pouches, and yogurts. A fun side tip: let the kids pick out a few of their favorite treats before the trip — what’s a road trip without a little junk food?
  • Always have extra clothes handy. You never know when Mother Nature will call — and exits can be far apart!
  • Keep cleanup simple. I always bring extra grocery bags for trash and a pack of wet wipes for sticky fingers and faces.
